At Sapphire Dietitians, we are dedicated to providing you with a pleasant consultation experience. Our administrative staff is ready to help you with questions about scheduling to make the process as simple as possible.

Your first appointment which last for 45minutes to an hour will consist of a comprehensive nutritional assessment. It involves anthropometric (body measurements), physical, biochemical (urinalysis, fasting blood sugar) ,dietary (present meal timing, food allergies, intolerances, food taboos eating habits) ,physical activity pattern and lifestyle assessment.

Your assessment would be analysed and your nutritional diagnosis would be explained to you. The nutrition intervention (treatment) following your diagnosis would be discussed in course of counseling as well as program options.Occasionally,meal plans are designed and made available to patients on the same day as the consultation. However, a complex diagnosis will require a period of 2 – 3 days for meal plans to be ready.

Although we primarily treat with food, medications you may be taking have an interrelationship with your diet therapy so it is important you fill your medical nutrition questionnaire honestly.

If you have done any laboratory investigation within the last 6-months prior to your consultation session, Please come along with them as they would be needed for your comprehensive nutritional analysis.We offer both virtual & physical consultation sessions depending on your location.

PLEASE NOTE: A parent or guardian must come along with all patients who are under 18 years old for their consultation.
